"We had the huge pleasure to encounter Filippa in Bali, where she acted as the Surf Guide to our one-week surf camp. And to start, let‘s get this straight: there could not have been any more suitable person for this job. She made sure the camp remained one of our favorite memories of our three-month trip!
Filippa was a perfectly well organized and utterly professional group leader. We all were always in on the day‘s schedule and activities while she made sure they were meeting everybody's expectations, wishes, and safety. In the case of questions or requests, Filippa would take care of them immediately, always coming up with the required answers and advice. Her professionalism, supported by her terrific English, is by far not her solitary quality though. Filippa is a real good-hearted soul and heaps of fun. Her kind and humorous manner were always present, regardless if it was 6 am pre-surf or 1 am just starting a nocturnal hike up a volcano. The latter indicating a further enviable quality of hers: Filippa always put her heart and soul in anything and with her motivating, the adventurous and enterprising way she made it so easy for everybody to do the same.
We had such an incredibly amazing time with endless fun, always feeling safe and relaxed, that we spontaneously extended our tour with Filippa. With that said - thank you, Filippa, for not only being the best guide possible but also for becoming a really great friend. To everybody out there: you won‘t regret touring with Filippa and are totally missing out if you don‘t!
